3.Summary:
The 3-Day Cybersecurity and VAPT Workshop by Hacxie Infosec Pvt. Ltd. provided hands-on training in ethical hacking, website vulnerabilities, and cybersecurity tools. Participants learned the basics of hacking, information gathering, and scanning using tools like Nmap, Google Dorks, and the Harvester. Practical sessions covered common web vulnerabilities such as SQL Injection, XSS, and broken authentication, along with the use of Burp Suite and Metasploit for exploitation. The workshop also emphasized report writing, bug bounty programs, and career opportunities in cybersecurity. The program concluded with a CTF challenge, awarding certificates to all participants.
Event Overview:
The Department of Computer Application, Tula’s Institute, organized a three-day workshop on Cyber Security in collaboration with HACXIE INFOSEC PVT LTD. The workshop was conducted by Mr. Gautam Kumar, a Cyber Security Expert, and attended by 150+ from MCA and BCA. Mr. Gautam covered essential topics such as Ethical Hacking tools, the use of Kali Linux, and Google Dorking. The workshop concluded with a hands-on practical session were participants worked with tools like Kali Linux, DVWA, and Juice Shop to set up their own cyber lab.
