1. Introduction
The CSI Student Chapter organized a Teachers’ Day Celebration on 5th September 2026 to express gratitude and appreciation to all the faculty members for their valuable contribution towards the academic and overall development of students.
Teachers’ Day is celebrated every year in India on 5th September to commemorate the birth anniversary of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, an eminent philosopher, teacher, and former President of India.
2. Objectives
The main objectives of the celebration were:
- To express gratitude and respect towards teachers.
- To recognize the valuable contribution of faculty members.
- To strengthen the relationship between students and faculty.
- To encourage students to appreciate the role of teachers in their personal and professional development.
- To promote a positive and friendly academic environment.
3. Programme Highlights
The programme was organized with active participation from CSI Student Chapter members and students. The celebration included:
- Welcome address by the student representatives.
- Felicitation of faculty members.
- Students expressing their gratitude and appreciation to teachers.
- Cultural activities and entertainment programmes.
- Interactive activities involving faculty and students.
- Sharing of memorable experiences and messages by students and faculty.
- Vote of thanks.
The students enthusiastically participated in the celebrations and made the event memorable for all the faculty members.
4. Outcome of the Programme
The Teachers’ Day celebration provided an opportunity for students to recognize the dedication, guidance, and continuous support provided by teachers. The programme helped strengthen the bond between faculty members and students and created a positive and joyful atmosphere in the department.
The event also encouraged students to understand the importance of teachers in shaping their knowledge, skills, values, and future careers.
5. Conclusion
The Teachers’ Day Celebration 2026 organized by the CSI Student Chapter was successfully conducted with active participation from students and faculty members. The programme served as a meaningful platform to express gratitude and respect towards teachers and to celebrate their important role in the education and development of students.
