Engineers’ Day Celebration 2026 – A Grand Success at GNIT

The IEEE & CSI Student Chapters of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Guru Nanak Institute of Technology (GNIT), Hyderabad, successfully organized Engineers’ Day Celebration 2026 on September 15, 2026.

The event was inaugurated and graced by Dr. B. Santhosh Kumar, Dean R&D,HOD CSE and faculty members of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering. The celebration was coordinated by the Event Coordinator Dr. B. Ranjitha and Student Coordinators of the IEEE & CSI Student Chapters.

Engineers’ Day Celebration 2026 was organized with the objective of celebrating the spirit of engineering while promoting technical excellence, innovation, problem-solving, creativity, and teamwork among students.

The celebration featured two major technical events:

1. CodeThon

A competitive coding challenge designed to test and enhance students’ programming skills, logical thinking, coding abilities, and problem-solving skills.

2. Technical Quiz

An engaging technical quiz aimed at enhancing students’ technical knowledge, analytical thinking, quick decision-making, and competitive spirit.

The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students of Guru Nanak Institute of Technology, who actively participated in the technical activities and contributed to the vibrant spirit of the celebration.

The winners and runners-up of both events were felicitated with trophies and special gifts during the valedictory ceremony in recognition of their outstanding performance and achievements.

We express our sincere gratitude to the esteemed dignitaries, Dr. B. Santhosh Kumar, Dean R&D, HOD CSE, Dr. S. P. Yadav, Dean Academics and Dr. B. Venkata Ramana Reddy, Principal, for their valuable guidance, encouragement, and unwavering support.

We also extend our heartfelt appreciation to Dr. B. Ranjitha, Event Coordinator, along with all the faculty members and students whose dedicated efforts, active participation, and teamwork contributed significantly to the successful organization of the celebration.

Engineers’ Day Celebration 2026 concluded on a high note, successfully achieving its objective of celebrating engineering excellence, encouraging technical skills, fostering innovation, and inspiring students to innovate, collaborate, solve real-world problems, and contribute towards building a better future.
