It was a beautiful morning on 5th September 2026 at the S.B. Jain campus as the institution celebrated Teachers’ Day with warmth, enthusiasm and a beautiful sense of belongingness.From the very moment of entry and punching in, every faculty and staff member was warmly welcomed with flowers and cheerful smiles by the organising team. This simple yet thoughtful gesture created a wonderful sense of warmth and set a positive tone for the entire celebration.
The formal celebration began in the second half of the day, after 2:30 p.m., in the gracious presence of Mr. Sanjeev Agarwal, CEO of the Institution, Dr. Sanjay Badhjate, Principal, Dr. Pankaj Thote, Dean Academics, Heads of various departments, faculty members and non-teaching staff.
The programme commenced with Saraswati Vandana, followed by a remembrance of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, whose birth anniversary is observed as Teachers’ Day in India. The traditional lamp-lighting ceremony marked the beginning of the celebrations.
The cultural segment added grace and charm to the occasion. A beautiful classical dance performance by students as well as faculty members made the evening even more memorable. The performances were appreciated enthusiastically by everyone, with the audience even asking for an encore.
The celebrations then moved into a lively and enjoyable session of games and fun activities for faculty members. Everyone participated with great enthusiasm, laughter and a wonderful sporting spirit. The cheerful interactions, candid moments and photographs captured during the activities made the occasion even more special and created memories to cherish.
The entire celebration reflected excellent coordination and teamwork by the organising team of the AURON Forum of the AIML and IT Department, coordinated by Prof. Ravindra Rasekar and Prof. Falguni Kalambe. Their thoughtful planning and dedicated efforts made the programme engaging, warm and enjoyable for everyone.
A heartfelt appreciation to the entire organising team and everyone who contributed to making the celebration a success. The programme not only celebrated the teaching fraternity but also strengthened the feeling of belongingness, togetherness and mutual appreciation within the S.B. Jain family.
