Teachers’ Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm at Siddhartha Institute of Engineering and Technology on 5 September 2026 to honour teachers for their valuable contribution to education and society. The programme was organized to commemorate the birth anniversary of                      Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, whose life and service to education continue to inspire generations.

The celebration was attended by the college management, faculty members, staff and students. The programme began with a warm welcome to the teachers and dignitaries. The management appreciated the dedication and commitment of the faculty members in guiding students towards academic and professional success.

As part of the celebrations, teachers participated enthusiastically in various activities and cultural programmes. The event provided an opportunity for students and faculty members to interact in a friendly and joyful atmosphere. The significant role of teachers in shaping students’ careers, character and personalities was particularly highlighted.

The Secretary, Principal, Director and Deans expressed their appreciation to the teaching community and encouraged them to continue their efforts towards providing quality education. Faculty members were felicitated as a mark of respect and gratitude for their dedicated services.

The celebration concluded on a positive note, with students expressing their heartfelt gratitude to their teachers. The programme successfully conveyed the importance of teachers and their indispensable role in building a knowledgeable, responsible and successful society.

The SPOC of the Computer Society of India (CSI) highlighted that, just like teachers, CSI also plays an important role in guiding and supporting students. Through technical activities, workshops, seminars, coding initiatives and professional learning opportunities, CSI helps students enhance their technical knowledge, develop practical skills and prepare themselves for future careers.
